American Born Chinese by Gene Luen Yang

This graphic novel is a good place for those not used to this format to start. The plot contains three unique stories, one from ancient China, one from modern America with a Chinese immigrant, and a third with an American with a Chinese cousin. The three perspectives give a new insight into self-acceptance and modern racism. The artwork is great and the book is overall appealing. It is highly recommended as an introduction to Manga.
