Logan has a best friend. They do everything together from riding bikes to shop lifting. They even like the same girl. Logan knows that Zyler's life isn't easy and he has to make some tough choices, but when you're best friends, that doesn't matter. Or does it? When one of Zyler's choices changes Logan's life forever, he must struggle to overcome the personal, family and social crisis he is plunged into.

This edgy young adult book is perfect for readers looking for realistic fiction. It deals with serious, real-life situations, especially abuse and bullying, but if offers good insight for those outside of these difficult circumstances and hope for young people facing these trials. The dialect it true to teenage life (and therefore occasionally rude and crude), but the fast-paced writing makes it easy to read and the writing style is fluid and even, keeping you interested without giving away too much.
