I was somewhat skeptical in picking this book up. However, it turns out to be a gripping portrayal of Jessop's experiences as an FLDS member in a polygamist marriage. She fairly and honestly describes her culture, alien as it may seem in modern America. She lives in an abusive, hellish household, yet she manages to escape and rescue her family from her husband's (and Warren Jeffs') reign. I would highly recommend reading this book!!!
